Sureserve Compliance Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrician to deliver high-quality electrical repairs for housing associations and social housing properties across the region. You will handle planned and responsive works, including lighting upgrades, fault finding, EICR testing and remedial actions.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in electrical installations, or equivalent (essential)
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and testing qualification, or equivalent (essential)
• 18th edition Wiring Regulations BS7671 qualification (essential)
• Valid UK driving Licence (essential)
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuous improvement

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly to minimise disruption to tenants
• Replace or upgrade electrical components, such as fuse boards and wiring systems
• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and remedial work after EICR
• Conduct periodic testing in domestic properties
• PAT testing
• Electrical Heating repairs
• Completing small quotes
• Compiling condition reports
• Adhere to Health & Safety Regulations in daily work
• Work with BS 7671 and NICEIC Best practice requirements
• Maintain high levels of customer care with clients and tenants
• Provide updates and complete paperwork electronically and manually
• Complete risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work
• Order parts and audit procedures for job readiness
