Job summary

Tilbury Douglas seeks a driven electrical project engineer to lead the electrical scope across a diverse project portfolio. You will collaborate with designers and suppliers to procure offsite and onsite systems, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with programmes and budgets.

You will oversee electrical installations, apply BS7671 standards, manage subcontractors, and drive quality audits while sustaining close communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong electrical engineering knowledge and experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to plan resources and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with MMC, Lean Construction, Agile Programme Management and Production Thinking.
• IT literacy and familiarity with electrical standards (e.g. BS7671) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for delivering electrical requirements across the project portfolio.
• Collaborate with designer and suppliers to procure offsite and onsite electrical systems.
• Coordinate electrical designs with civil and mechanical elements.
• Manage subcontractors and material orders, review supplier proposals and designs.
• Engage with supply chain to enhance capabilities for project delivery.
• Oversee electrical installation works and ensure safety and quality standards.
