Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical in Sheffield to lead electrical engineering on major infrastructure projects UK-wide. You will drive technical submissions, procurement coordination and multidisciplinary integration while ensuring safe, on-time and within-budget delivery.

You will manage subcontractors, cost control, and commercial reporting, maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering infrastructure or major construction projects
Experience with MEICA requirements in Water sector or similar
CSCS Card holders preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate electrical engineering activities throughout project lifecycle
Manage technical submissions, procurement schedules and drawing registers
Review and assess procurement packages and subcontractor submissions
Coordinate electrical services integration with multidisciplinary teams
Support installation, commissioning and technical queries
Monitor project progress and productivity
Assist with cost control, variations, valuations and commercial reporting
Support subcontractor management and project review meetings
Ensure compliance with Client and company procedures, health & safety and quality standards
Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
Support Project Manager and deputise when required
Undertake supply chain visits and assist with compliance audits
