Job summary

Amentum is seeking Electrical Engineers to join the PPP programme for Sellafield across Birchwood or Cumbria. The role focuses on delivering electrical design across project phases, coordinating with supply chains and BIM-enabled workflows to meet safety and client standards.

Candidates should hold an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with professional registration in progress and experience in nuclear or similar regulated environments preferred.

Qualifications

• BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; HNC/HND acceptable.
• Professional registration or working towards registration (IET or equivalent).
• Experience in electrical design and knowledge of BS 7671 and IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design support across design, procurement, manufacture, construction, commissioning and installation.
• Manage electrical design baselines and respond to supply chain requirements.
• Produce and review deliverables to deadlines per standards.
• Coordinate electrical design with BIM and other disciplines.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover activities.
