Hunter Selection Limited is recruiting an Electrical Engineer in the Devon area to perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement across manufacturing equipment. The role offers days and night Panama shift patterns and enhanced pension, with a focus on safe, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, a multiskilled background, and City & Guilds 236 & 18th Edition qualifications, plus a proactive problem-solving

Qualifications

• Engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Multiskilled background (mechanical and electrical) preferred; electrical-bias engineers with a desire to upskill also welcome.
• City & Guilds 236 and 18th Edition qualifications.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across all manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose faults, complete repairs and work to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying issues and contributing to long-term engineering solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams to maintain high operational standards.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and compliance requirements.
