Job summary

Gap Technical Ltd. is partnering with a leading UK manufacturer in Corby to recruit multiple Maintenance Engineers. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and driving improvements in a modern FMCG environment.

You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and work closely with production teams to ensure safe, efficient operation. Panama Days shift offers a balanced work-life integration.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification required (NVQ/City & Guilds/HNC or equivalent).
• Experience in FMCG/food production or fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with conveyors, motors, sensors and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve production equipment to maximise uptime.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, including PLC-controlled equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
