Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Energy division in the UK. You will support the safe and successful delivery of electrical works across DNO, ICP and wider energy infrastructure projects.

This is a hands-on role working with LV and HV infrastructure including substations, switchgear, transformers and cabling, collaborating with project managers, site teams and clients to ensure technical standards are met.

Qualifications

• HV/LV authorisations or AP/SAP where appropriate.
• ECS/CSCS certification or willingness to obtain it.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support across Energy projects, including installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance.
• Work with LV/HV systems, substations, switchgear, transformers and cabling.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications; diagnose and resolve faults.
• Follow RAMS, permits, isolation procedures and HSQE requirements; support energisation, commissioning and handover activities; collaborate with stakeholders.
