Job summary

Mitie in London is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to deliver facilities management across our Whitehall site. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, work with Mitie engineers, subcontractors and clients to keep systems safe and compliant.

The role requires knowledge of LV networks, standby generators, and building services. You will update CAFM records, support on-call standby, and demonstrate teamwork and adaptability to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Substantial practical experience with building services disciplines and LV systems
• Experience with standby generators and environmental systems
• Experience in estates or facilities management environments

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Ensure compliance with risk management procedures and complete documentation
• Maintain proactive client liaison and escalate concerns as needed
• Support standby rota for emergency calls outside normal hours
• Demonstrate teamwork and high standards across electrical/building services
