Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our London team. You will contribute to design and delivery across multiple building projects, applying your knowledge of electrical systems, lighting, LV distribution and related services from concept through to construction.

You will produce drawings, specifications and design calculations, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and support QA procedures while advancing your professional development in a global infrastructure firm that values

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related subject.
• Engineering accreditation (IEng or equivalent) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical design of lighting, LV supply and small power distribution, earthing and lightning protection, fire and voice alarm systems, telecommunication services, low current and extra low voltage services, automatic controls, BMS.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, schedules and contract documents across RIBA stages.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers to ensure design continuity.
• Attend progress, design team and coordination meetings; attend site inspection meetings.
