Job description

Building Service Compliance Engineer

A permanent vacancy has arisen within our client's Maintenance Section for a Building Service Compliance Engineer.

Rate of pay: Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience) + progression opportunities.

The role is for dayshift: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, and Friday 7am to 12pm. There is a possibility of overtime, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Main Duties of the Post:

1. Writing PTWs and ensuring contractors are compliant at all times.
2. Supporting compliance for water, fire, and legionella across all sites.
3. Leading the preparation of enquiries for potential major projects.
4. Leading a multi-disciplinary design team when required.
5. Familiarity with building fabrication works, both internal and external.
6. Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience.
7. Providing technical support as required.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

1. Electrical 18th Edition, SVQ Level 3.
2. Experience in facilities maintenance.
3. Legionella qualification, IOSH.
4. Mechanical and building works experience.
