Job summary

ISS is seeking an experienced electrical professional to perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial facilities. The role involves fault finding on three-phase systems, compliance with BS 7671 and permit-to-work procedures, and coordination of HV/LV contractors.

You will progress toward HV/LV Appointed Person authorisation, supported by training and competency assessments, to enhance safety and site operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical professional with strong experience in building services maintenance and commercial facilities environments.
• Recognised Level 3 electrotechnical qualification and AM2/AM2S or equivalent route.
• Willing to progress through HV and LV Appointed Person training and competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and corrective electrical works across commercial and facilities environments.
• Undertake advanced electrical fault finding, diagnosis and repair activities, including work on three-phase electrical systems.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, RAMS, lock-off procedures and permit-to-work systems.
• Support the management of electrical contractors and specialist HV/LV providers.
• Review technical information associated with electrical works, testing and certification.
• Check completed electrical works to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
• Participate in emergency response and call-out arrangements where required.
