Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the hard services maintenance team on the Sellafield site. You will maintain critical electrical systems in a highly regulated environment, ensuring safety, compliance and operational reliability.

The role offers a 9-day fortnight, annual bonus payments and travel allowance in line with the NAECI Agreement, with shifts across a two-week pattern and 38 hours per week. Apply to develop your career at one of the UK's most prestigious sites.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience working in a commercial, industrial or highly regulated maintenance environment.
Strong understanding of electrical compliance, fault finding and testing procedures.
Ability to work safely within strict site procedures and permit systems.
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of building services systems.
Complete inspections, testing and certification, including EICRs, in line with BS 7671 and site compliance requirements.
Support electrical projects and system upgrades, providing technical expertise and assisting with safe implementation.
Review risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work documentation to ensure work is completed safely.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality and asset performance.
