Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team supporting the decommissioning of Hunterston B through complex modifications and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on technical design rather than budgets or schedules.

You will develop electrical solutions, review requirements, and produce design packages throughout the lifecycle. The role offers a nine-day fortnight and site-based, collaborative engineering environment

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in electrical engineering; degree or NQF 5/6 preferred.
• Experience delivering electrical design in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of CDM and decommissioning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for plant modifications and upgrades.
• Produce specifications, calculations and design docs.
• Review proposals and provide technical assurance.
