Job summary

Thornhvac Ltd in Bristol area seeks an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to install and commission cutting-edge HVAC systems on commercial sites. You will perform performance checks, complete commissioning checklists, and hand over fully operational equipment to clients.

Travel across the South West is required with a company car provided. Training on systems will be given; 18th edition, ECS and CSCS blue cards are preferred. Basic salary up to £43k plus travel allowances and overtime options.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical commissioning, servicing and testing.
• Exposure to HVAC equipment and controls is preferred but not essential, as full training on systems will be given.
• Flexible to travel and work away as required, with a full driving licence.
• Ideally be 18th edition qualified, plus hold an ECS and CSCS blue skilled worker card.

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial sites with cutting-edge sustainable HVAC systems, ensuring proper installation and operation.
• Conduct performance checks of systems using diagnostic tools and complete commissioning checklists for client handover.
• Respond to wiring or building controls faults and correct them, plus occasional planned maintenance calls.
• Complete reports and paperwork documenting commissioning activities.

The ROLE

• Working on commercial sites on cutting-edge sustainable HVAC systems, ensuring products are installed correctly and fully operational.
• With use of diagnostic tools, you'll be conducting performance checks of systems and complete commissioning checklist to full client handover.
• Respond to any wiring or building controls faults and correct as necessary, plus occasional planned maintenance calls on equipment.
• Completion of reports & paperwork.

The PACKAGE

A basic salary up to approx c£43k. Company car, door to door travel paid, overtime paid at tx1.5 after 10 hours, BUPA, 23 days holiday & more.

The LOCATION

You’ll be based around the Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon area to cover sites in the South West area. There will be some additional travel and working away as required
