Job summary

Thornhvac in Bristol and surrounding areas is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to work on commercial sites within the South West. You will ensure HVAC systems are installed correctly and fully operational, using diagnostic tools to perform performance checks and complete commissioning handovers.

The role requires experience in electrical commissioning, with training on HVAC controls provided. A full driving licence is essential, with willingness to travel and stay away as required;

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical commissioning, servicing and testing.
• Exposure to HVAC equipment and controls is preferred but not essential.
• Flexible to travel and work away with a full driving licence.
• Ideally be 18th edition qualified, plus hold an ECS and CSCS blue skilled worker card.

Responsibilities

• Working on commercial sites on cutting-edge sustainable HVAC systems, ensuring products are installed correctly and fully operational.
• With use of diagnostic tools, you''ll be conducting performance checks of systems and complete commissioning checklist to full client handover.
• Respond to any wiring or building controls faults and correct as necessary, plus occasional planned maintenance calls on equipment.
• Completion of reports & paperwork.

THE LOCATION

You’ll be based around the Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon area to cover sites in the South West area.

There will be some additional travel and working away as required.
