Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the detailed design and delivery of electrical systems for a major decarbonisation programme. You will develop power distribution solutions, cable routing, equipment integration and electrical specifications with multidisciplinary teams.

You will produce electrical drawings and technical documentation, support load schedules and cable sizing, and collaborate with site teams, mechanical engineers and controls specialists to deliver integrated

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience using AutoCAD and electrical design software.
• Background in industrial or building services projects preferred.
• Strong technical and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Job description

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the detailed design and delivery of electrical systems for a major decarbonisation programme. You'll play a key role in developing power distribution solutions, cable routing, equipment integration, and electrical specifications, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective project delivery.

• Produce electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Support power distribution design, load schedules, and cable sizing activities.
• Assist with transformer integration and equipment installation.
• Collaborate with site teams, mechanical engineers, and controls specialists to deliver integrated solutions.

Your profile

You’ll be a qualified Electrical Engineer with experience supporting electrical design projects in industrial, manufacturing, or building services environments. Comfortable producing technical drawings and specifications, you’ll have a good understanding of electrical systems and a collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams.
