Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to drive site electrification and heat pump integration projects. You will deliver HV and LV electrical infrastructure designs and lead technical reviews to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient solutions for decarbonisation initiatives.

You will manage transformer, switchgear and infrastructure requirements, coordinate with DNOs for approvals, and ensure adherence to project standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical infrastructure projects in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of HV and LV power distribution.
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable.

Your role

We're looking for an Electrical Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership across site electrification and heat pump integration projects. You'll be responsible for the design and delivery of HV and LV electrical infrastructure, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient solutions that support decarbonisation and energy transformation programmes.

• Manage DNO interfaces and electrical approvals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.

Your profile

You will be a qualified Electrical Engineer with experience delivering electrical infrastructure projects within industrial or manufacturing environments. You will bring strong knowledge of HV and LV power distribution systems, along with the technical expertise and leadership skills to support complex electrification and decarbonisation programmes. Chartered status is desirable.

• Experience in HV and LV electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
• Background working within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, with Chartered Engineer (CEng) status desirable.
• Strong technical, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
