Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead in the UK to provide technical leadership across site electrification and heat pump integration projects. You will design HV and LV electrical infrastructure and manage interfaces with DNOs to deliver safe, compliant systems.

The role is based at Broughton with 2-3 days in the office, requires degree in Electrical Engineering (CEng desirable) and strong project delivery skills.

Electrical Engineering Lead

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership across site electrification and heat pump integration projects. You will design and deliver HV and LV electrical infrastructure, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient solutions that support decarbonisation and energy transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV and LV electrical design and technical reviews.
• Define transformer, switchgear, and electrical infrastructure requirements.
• Manage DNO interfaces and electrical approvals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in HV and LV electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
• Background working within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering; Chartered Engineer (CEng) status desirable.
• Strong technical, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
