Job summary

HR GO Group is looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Flintshire. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and installations to maximise plant reliability.

The role includes 12-hour rotating shifts, full-time permanent status, with a salary of £56,298 per annum plus bonus and overtime. You will work to health and electrical standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Fault-finding on Siemens PLCs (S7/TIA Portal).
• HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
• Experience within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Able to read electrical schematics and use CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair faults on Siemens PLC-controlled equipment (S7/TIA Portal).
• Work on automation systems, VSDs, sensors, HMIs and control panels.
• Install, modify and commission electrical equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and minimise production downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and electrical standards.
