HV Engineer

• Good working knowledge of HVAC Substations and MV-LV switchgears.
• Excellent understanding of substation schematics, arrangements, layouts, earthing schemes, control, and protection schemes.
• Experience in cable sizing, cable scheduling, cabling philosophy, BOQ preparation, and selection of electrical components.
• Experience in designing LV Power boards, control and protection schemes, load schedules, supply capacity assessments, and storage assessments.
• Verification of drawings, datasheets, vendor drawings, interface drawings, and adaptation according to project-specific requirements.
• Assisting in preparing project proposals, documentation, and reports.
• Site coordination activities for substation projects, including interaction with customer site teams and internal engineering teams.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams for project execution.
• Suggesting procedural improvements and changes.
• Experience in construction, testing, and commissioning of HVDC & HVAC substation projects.
• Experience in detailed engineering work and plant engineering.
• Conducting power system studies.
