Job summary

EQUANS is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Peel Group contract to cover Trafford Palazzo and Quayside Lowry in Manchester. The role is a permanent full-time position (40 hours/week) with duties including planned maintenance, reactive work, RAMS, and coordination with on-site teams and subcontractors.

Platform experience with CAFM, site logbooks, and BMS/HVAC familiarity will help ensure SLA/KPIs are met. A strong customer-service mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• NVQ Levels 2 & 3 Electrical Installation is required.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Test is required.
• 3S7671 18th Edition Regulations is required.
• Asbestos awareness is preferable but not essential.
• PAF Access Licence and PASMA are preferable.
• First aid training is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive works at Trafford Palazzo & Quayside Retail Malls.
• Read RAMS and RAMS for large works; ensure compliance and safety.
• Coordinate with on-site teams and supervise subcontractors.
• Maintain site logbooks and complete technical reporting.

This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.General Overview:We have an opportunity available for an Electrician on the Ped L&P owned and managed Trafford Palazzo & Quayside Retail Malls. The role Will involve carrying out planned maintenance activities and reactive works across the two sites and covering holidays across the two sites as required. You will be working alongside our existing on site teams consisting of Electricians/Mechanical & Fabric Disciplines also based on site. Excellent customer service skills and team working skills are required for this site.Duties:Complete all statutory and non-statutory PPM in accordance With annual PPM planners and task instruction sets and customers SLA's & KA's.Experience of using CAFM systems to complete reactive and PPM tasks in line with our SLA's & KPI's.Ensure all site logbooks are kept up to date With the relevant information and certification.To identify maintenance needs and produce technical reports on equipment.To respond & repair any reactive calls raised through the dedicated EQUANS Service desk and providerelevant task information to the Administration team to ensure all jobs are resolved to the satisfaction Ofthe customer and within the Service Level Agreements (SLA).To read, understand and work to generic site PPM risk assessments and method statements (RAMS),completing any additional RAMS for any large works not covered or a point Of work general risk assessments for smaner tasks.Coordinate all works to a high standard and to EQUANS quality proceduresSupervise/escort subcontractors whist on site ensuring they follow site security procedures, ensuring work to their RAMs and within EQUANS safe working procedures.Following a reasonable request, be available to work overtime to accommodate site requirementsThe timely completion Of all company forms and statutory documentation, including record keeping and technical reporting.To comply With the requirements of the Company's Policies and ProceduresAssist Other members Of the team where multi person tasks are required.Wear company uniform at all times and be of a smart and presentable appearance.Complexity:The customer PEEL Land & Property is an ISO 50001 accredited company.
