Job Description Summary: The Electrical Engineer is responsible for operations and maintenance support of electrical power distribution systems, including high voltage substations, transformers, switchgear, motors, motor control centers, lighting, grounding, electrical wiring, and hazardous area classification.

• Lead and participate in activities to improve asset reliability and optimize maintenance costs.
• Support operations and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
• Analyze and follow up on predictive data such as relay tests, thermography, PD testing, etc.
• Provide guidance on Local, National, & International Codes, Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
• Assist with engineering studies, incident investigations, audits, and report preparation.
• Maintain equipment condition assessment data for high voltage systems.
• Assist field personnel with high voltage distribution equipment and motors.
• Support other departments and perform additional responsibilities as needed.
• Contribute to project planning and participate in project phases.
• Implement Smart Innovative Operations (SIO) Predict initiatives.
• Review project engineering work by external resources.
• Participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
• Train, coach, and mentor technicians and staff in electrical systems maintenance and operation.

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of medium/high voltage motors and distribution systems; at least 7,000 volts.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as IEC, ISA, NEC, IEEE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to travel up to 50% with short notice.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• 2 years of Medium Voltage experience.
• 5 years of Industrial Operations experience.
