Job summary

Crown House Technologies is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our life sciences delivery team in Oxford. You will lead electrical engineering delivery across design, installation, commissioning and handover, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with project managers, planners, subcontractors and design teams.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services, and you will operate in a highly regulated environment, driving safety and compliance

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Extensive experience delivering electrical engineering on large-scale, regulated projects.
• Leadership experience mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering delivery from design through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with project managers, planners, subcontractors and design teams.
• Review complex electrical designs to ensure regulatory and client compliance.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and standards.
• Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions and continuous improvement.
• Support project close-out, QA, and documentation handover.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the Electrical engineering delivery activities, providing technical oversight from design through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Managing and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating closely with project managers, planners, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Reviewing complex mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring all electrical works comply with health and safety legislation and company standards.
• Identifying and implementing innovative engineering solutions, best practices, and continuous improvements.
• Supporting project close‑out processes, including quality assurance and documentation handover.

What We're Looking For

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline, with substantial experience in Electrical engineering delivery on large-scale projects.
• Proven experience working on highly regulated sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, or high-tech manufacturing projects.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
