Job description

Are you ready to be part of the most significant opportunity unfolding right at your doorstep? Bid farewell to extensive travel and contract work as we invite you to join the groundbreaking developments in the field. Whether you seek a stable future or have a passion for Green Energy, this is your chance.

Why us? We will be the biggest XXXL Monopile factory in the world servicing the offshore wind industry with several secured projects commencing in 2025.

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership, technical expertise, and governance in the design and maintenance of the company’s electrical power and distribution network. You will also play a critical part in supporting the Maintenance and Facilities Manager in shaping the maintenance strategy across all plant and equipment, while offering guidance to the wider Mechanical Maintenance Team.

As Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical schematics for manufacturing machinery and automated systems, as well as developing, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC programs to ensure optimal machine performance. Your expertise will help drive improvements in reliability and efficiency across all electrical and control systems on site.

You will collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues, implement preventative measures, and drive enhancements in control system performance. A key focus of this role is ensuring compliance with health, safety, and industry standards, while also bringing forward innovative solutions to support our evolving operations.

This position involves the hands-on design, testing, and documentation of electrical systems, components, and control logic, along with diagnosing complex faults, mentoring junior engineers and technicians, and staying up to date with emerging technologies and regulatory standards.

We’re looking for someone with a strong academic background—minimum BTEC or HNC qualification, though ideally a degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. You should have a deep understanding of electrical systems, including control panels, servodrives, logic controllers, high- and low-voltage systems, and electrical design. Proven experience in PLC programming within a manufacturing setting is essential, along with robust troubleshooting, testing, and technical project management capabilities.

If you're a motivated engineer with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the drive to lead and influence within a fast-paced industrial environment, we’d love to hear from you.

In return, we offer an attractive base salary, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, Medicash cover, Death in Service (x4 salary), and a 5% employer pension contribution.

At SeAH Wind, we are committed to developing a diverse workforce and creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Our aim is to build a workplace that attracts the most talented people and fosters courtesy and mutual respect.

All applications will receive equal consideration for employment regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expressions, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age. We believe that getting this right is crucial for us to live our values: Honest, Passionate, and Professional.

Simply put, SeAH Wind values you whoever you are.
