Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. recruits an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a heavy industrial site in the Greater Morecambe area. This hands-on role diagnoses faults, responds to breakdowns and performs planned maintenance to keep production running.

You’ll work on PLC equipment, DC drives, motors and control panels, contributing to modifications and improvements with a large engineering team and ongoing training.

Qualifications

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Greater Morecambe Area

Salary: £45,000

Shift: Continental Shift Pattern (12-Hour Days & Nights)

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An established heavy industrial manufacturer in the Greater Morecambe area is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its experienced engineering team. This is a hands-on position working across large-scale production equipment and associated plant, with responsibility for diagnosing electrical faults, responding to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance to support reliable production.

You’ll work across a broad range of electrical systems, including PLC-controlled equipment, DC drives, motors, control panels and instrumentation. Alongside day-to-day maintenance, you’ll support electrical modifications and improvement work across the site, making this a varied opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical fault finding and working with complex industrial machinery.
