A maintenance engineer role is available at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd near Kings Lynn. Join a specialist engineering team on 8-hour rotating shifts with optional overtime, performing planned maintenance and quick breakdown response across a large plant.
You will work on mechanical and electrical systems, record activities in CMMS, support safety processes and contribute to continuous improvement to boost reliability and energy production from recovered paper-based fuel.
We have a new opportunity to join this great business based near Kings Lynn. This site operates one of the world's largest and most advanced newsprint machines, producing up to 400,000 tonnes of newsprint, improved newsprint, and magazine grades each year using 100% recycled fibre. A dedicated on‑site recycling operation supplies the waste paper required for production, providing collection and recycling services to both public‑sector and commercial customers. Working on 8-hour rotating shifts with optional overtime.
Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent time-served background in mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled maintenance engineering. Level 3 engineering qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, EAL Diploma, BTEC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Maintenance
Good practical knowledge of safe isolation, lock-off/tag-out, permits to work, risk assessments and method statements.
This is an opportunity to join a specialist engineering team within a power generation environment, working on varied plant and equipment where no two shifts are the same.
