Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Engineer for AFC Harrogate College as part of our Total Facilities Management team. You will deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical work across the estate, ensuring safety, compliance and high standards.
You will perform testing and inspections, maintain records, and support continuous improvement while working both independently and with a multidisciplinary team. A valid UK driving licence is required.

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the AFC Harrogate College estate. You'll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard, helping to maintain a safe, compliant and fully operational environment for our client.
Working as part of our Total Facilities Management team, you'll support the delivery of electrical services while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, Health & Safety legislation, current electrical regulations and ISO 9001 quality standards.
This is a Monday to Friday position, working any 8-hour shift between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
There is also a requirement to participate in an on-call rota (1 week in every 4) covering Monday to Sunday, for which an additional payment is provided.
As part of our Total Facilities Management contract at AFC Harrogate College, you'll work alongside teams delivering catering, cleaning, accommodation, laundry and other essential support services.
