We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Fareham.

Introduction

The primary role of the Electrical Engineer will be to design and develop control systems for complex technical machines and equipment. Training and development will be provided for the right transferable skills.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include working on motion control equipment and drives, safety systems, and monitoring systems - PLC and video based. This role will involve both desk-based specification, design, and documentation, as well as hands-on work on the production line, coordinating and assisting with tasks.

Ideal Experience

• Engineering Degree or equivalent relatable experience.
• Experience in projects involving the specification, design, and commissioning of electrical control systems is beneficial.
• Experience producing project documentation including technical specifications, design documentation, and budget material lists.
• Electrical circuit fault finding experience.
• Wiring experience and knowledge of wiring standards.
• Willingness to be hands-on.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Electrical Engineers of all levels will be considered, especially those with a hands-on electrical wiring background eager to develop their skills.

Salary

£35,000 - £50,000
