Job summary

Leading Global Engineering Consultancy and its Edinburgh team are seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on landmark UK projects. You will design electrical building services for a range of sectors across Edinburgh and Scotland, collaborating with architects, MEP engineers and sustainability experts to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions.

The role spans concept through construction, with BIM design, calculations, reports and coordination with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Building Services design.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards.
• Experience using industry software such as Revit, Amtech, Dialux or similar.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ambition to achieve, or continue progressing towards, professional chartership.

Responsibilities

The Role

Responsibilities

You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction and completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Producing calculations, specifications and technical reports
• Working closely with architects, mechanical engineers and sustainability specialists
