Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking a Maintenance/Team Leader to oversee maintenance activities across multiple sites. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, coordinate contractors, and ensure safe, efficient execution of work with a focus on high-quality asset care.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, experience with SAP and alarm systems, and the ability to lead teams under pressure while maintaining standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or highly experienced in maintenance leadership.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with preventive maintenance experience.
• Experience with predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of plant equipment and maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment with high quality, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Detect deviations in plant asset performance and address promptly.
• Ensure safe, efficient daily maintenance through detailed planning with area engineers.
• Establish standard work plans for repetitive tasks and promote standardization.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to detect anomalies during tours.
• Coordinate external contractors and monitor task quality.
• Review plant information (SAP, shift reports, alarms) and act on insights.
• Provide detailed work orders to ensure safe and efficient maintenance.
• Keep asset documents and drawings up to date and accessible.
• Support Engineering and Production in planning for optimal efficiency.

• Foresee that all the activities needed to maintain equipment are being executed and with a high quality, focus on preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Detect deviations in the performance of the plant's asset function in time.
• Ensure the safe, efficient and quality execution of routine maintenance work on a daily basis, through detailed job preparation with the Engineer of the area.
• Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardization.
• Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled daily tours in order to detect anomalies.
• Provide support to Maintenance teams in the diagnosis and problem solving.
• Guarantee the quality of external repair services, spare parts or equipment, inspecting the equipment at the supplier or upon arrival at the warehouse.
• Coordinate contractors scheduled jobs and monitor the quality of tasks being carried out.
• Use predictive maintenance techniques, when appropriate, for the management of equipment and components.
• Review and analyse plant information (SAP + Shift Reports + Alarms Systems).
• Provide detailed work orders that ensure the safe and efficient execution of all maintenance work.
• Keep the asset documents and drawings updated and in order, in the locations where their use is required.
• In the same way, update and keep organized the information that is on-line.
• Provide support to Engineering and Production team with the preparation of the work plans to achieve the highest efficiency and quality of the maintenance groups.

• Degree Qualified /or a highly proactive and experienced Maintenance/Team Leader
• Strong Mechanical knowledge and skills
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and tools associated with troubleshooting
• In depth knowledge and experience in current plant equipment
• Knowledge of tools and techniques related to predictive and preventive maintenance
• Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal and external departments
• Ability to work under pressure and find solutions in a short period of time
