Job summary

Assystem is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join the MEH Make Ready team at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater. You will be embedded within the construction delivery team, driving electrical installation readiness across one of the country's most technically demanding build environments.

Electrical Engineer – Construction | Hinkley Point C

Bridgwater

Assystem is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join the MEH Make Ready team at Hinkley Point C, working at the leading edge of the UK's nuclear new build programme. You'll be embedded within the construction delivery team, driving electrical installation readiness across one of the most technically demanding build environments in the country.

This is a permanent role with a direct path onto the wider HPC portfolio and beyond, backed by Assystem's position as a core delivery partner to EDF on the UK's flagship nuclear programme.

The role:

• Own electrical installation readiness within the MEH Alliance construction process, closing out documentation and sign-off ahead of build
• Work directly alongside EDF and MEH Alliance engineering teams at the heart of the programme
• Be part of a small, high-impact team with direct visibility to programme leadership

What you'll bring:

• Electrical construction/installation background on major infrastructure or nuclear new build
• Strong working knowledge of BS7671 and formal sign-off/hold point processes
• The drive to operate in a fast-moving, high-stakes construction environment
