Job summary

Assystem is recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer to join the MEH Make Ready team at Hinkley Point C, supporting electrical installation delivery across the UK's flagship nuclear new build programme.

The role focuses on coordinating electrical construction readiness and ensuring sign-off under BS7671 standards, working closely with design, construction and client teams on-site in Bridgwater three days a week.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent professional background.
• Experience coordinating electrical construction activities on large projects.
• Knowledge of BS7671 and sign-off processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical construction readiness within the MEH Alliance process.
• Liaise between design, construction, and client teams to maintain programme.
• Embed within the HPC delivery team and progress across the portfolio.

Assystem is recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer to join the MEH Make Ready team at Hinkley Point C, supporting electrical installation delivery across the UK's flagship nuclear new build programme.

The role:

• Coordinate electrical construction readiness within the MEH Alliance process — documentation, sign-off, and hold point close-out ahead of build
• Liaise between design, construction, and client teams to keep electrical scope on programme
• Work embedded within the HPC delivery team, with progression across the wider portfolio

What you'll bring:

• Electrical engineering background with project/construction coordination experience
• Working knowledge of BS7671 and formal sign-off processes
