Job summary

Ormandy Rycroft Engineering invites an Electrical Engineer to join a UK-based team with over 125 years in HVAC. The role is permanent, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, and offers flexible working including up to 2 days home working.

You will identify customer requirements, design systems, read drawings, create plans, estimate costs, and manage projects while ensuring safety regulations are met. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with design and calculation software.
• Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
• Knowledge of heating and ventilation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Identify customer requirements.

• Creating project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
• Estimating costs and project timings.
• Manage projects and deliver them on time.
• Making sure projects meet safety regulations.
• Attending meetings, writing reports, and giving presentations.
• Providing technical assistance.
• Problem solving and analyse issues.
• Assess the tools and information required to develop solutions.
• Assist with spare parts selection.
• Proven expertise as an electrical engineer.

Qualifications
