Job summary

JCB is launching an Electrical & Electronic Engineering Graduate Scheme in the United Kingdom. The program runs for 24 months, combines placements across large machine systems, and begins in September 2027.

Starting salaries start around £18,000 with potential for progression to around £31,500 as the scheme advances. You should have a relevant degree and be on track for at least a 2:1, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum entry criteria include a bachelor’s or master’s degree such as Electrical Controls, Electrical Systems, Electrical & Electronic and must be on track for a 2:1 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Touch screen display programming for front-end UI and backend coding techniques.
• Electrical design of circuits and harnesses using CAD software.
• Machine system testing and verification to evaluate new functionality or issues.
• Researching future technologies to ensure innovation across new fleet of machines.
