Job summary

JCB invites applicants to its Level 6 Electrical and Electronic Engineering Degree Apprenticeship. The program starts September 2027 and typically runs for 4–5 years, blending hands-on experience with a Bachelor’s degree earned via Warwick Manufacturing Group.

Apprenticeship participants will undertake projects such as touch screen programming, CAD-based electrical design, and rigorous testing, while benefiting from a wide range of employee perks and a structured recruitment process.

Qualifications

• 112 tariff points minimum.
• A level Maths at grade B or above.
• STEM subject grade C or above.
• GCSE Maths, English and STEM grades C/4+ or above.
• Post-GCSE disciplines should include Engineering or relevant STEM subjects (Physics recommended).

Responsibilities

• Touch screen display programming for front-end UI and backend coding.
• Electrical circuit and harness design using CAD software.
• Machine system testing and verification of new functionality.
• Researching future technologies to drive innovation in new fleet machines.
