Job summary

South East Water in the UK seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead high‑impact design and commissioning projects that supply clean water to millions. You will develop technical solutions, coordinate with Process, Civil and Mechanical teams, and oversee design reviews from concept to commissioning.

The role supports hybrid working with some site visits across the South East. You will apply PLC, HMI, VSD and telemetry knowledge while producing detailed reports and collaborating with

Qualifications

• HNC or degree in engineering or equivalent training.
• Aspiring Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with IET.
• Experience in water utilities is advantageous.
• Strong team collaboration and communication.
• Good technical report writing and editorial skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Produce reports and perform reviews of complex electrical designs.
• Analyze options and select appropriate technical solutions.
• Ensure contractor designs meet company specs and regulations.
• Develop outline scheme designs.
• Assist in scheme programmes, estimates and tender docs.
