Job summary

Vertech Group (UK) Ltd in Swansea is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to deliver electrical design for bespoke industrial systems, from schematics and layouts to component specification and installation support.

You will work across manufacturing and automation projects, collaborating with mechanical and controls engineers, with training available for Eplan and a clear path for career progression.

Qualifications

• Strong Electrical Design / Electrical Engineering experience
• Experience producing electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation
• Good understanding of power distribution and control systems
• Experience within manufacturing, automation or industrial engineering
• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and schematics for industrial processes.
• Prepare drawings and technical documentation.
• Specify electrical components and assist installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers on projects.
• Cover power distribution and control systems throughout projects.

Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Swansea

Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 + Excellent Benefits

Electrical Design Engineer required by an established industrial engineering company delivering bespoke materials handling and automation systems!

This is a varied project-based role covering the electrical design of industrial systems, from detailed schematics and layouts through to component specification, installation and commissioning support.

Essential:

• Strong Electrical Design / Electrical Engineering experience
• Experience producing electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation
• Good understanding of power distribution and control systems
• Experience within manufacturing, automation or industrial engineering
• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have (training provided):

• Experience with Eplan would be beneficial
