Job summary

Vertech Group (UK) Ltd in Swansea is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design of industrial systems, from schematics and layouts to component specification, installation and commissioning support.

• Experience producing electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of power distribution and control systems.

• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of industrial systems from detailed schematics to layouts.
• Specify components, control systems and documentation for projects.
• Support installation, commissioning and on-site testing as needed.
• Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers across diverse customer projects.

Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Swansea

Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 + Excellent Benefits

Electrical Design Engineer required by an established industrial engineering company delivering bespoke materials handling and automation systems!

This is a varied project–based role covering the electrical design of industrial systems, from detailed schematics and layouts through to component specification, installation and commissioning support.

Essential:

• Strong Electrical Design / Electrical Engineering experience
• Experience producing electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation
• Good understanding of power distribution and control systems
• Experience within manufacturing, automation or industrial engineering
• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have (training provided):

• Experience with Eplan would be beneficial
