Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a building services consultancy. You will design electrical building services, develop calculations, specifications, and deliver projects from concept to construction.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home, plus the opportunity to progress within a reputable MEP consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in electrical building

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in building services electrical design.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services.
• Experience in a building services consultancy or similar design environment.
• Good understanding of electrical design principles and project delivery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Producing electrical building services designs across project stages.
• Developing electrical designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
• Working on lighting, small power and general electrical building services.
• Contributing to design development and ensuring delivery to programme and standards.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, architects and other stakeholders.
• Presenting technical information at meetings.
