Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Sheffield team. You will design electrical systems for heavy machinery, focusing on hardware design including power distribution, MCCs, and motor control across the full lifecycle from concept through commissioning.

The role offers hybrid working, a generous pension, 25 days annual leave plus holidays, and strong career development within a collaborative engineering environment.

Formación

• Degree or higher in Electrical/EC&I or related field.
• Experience designing electrical systems for machinery and heavy equipment.
• Experience producing electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of MCCs, control panels and motor control systems.
• Familiarity with drives, motors and power distribution systems.
• Experience using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN or similar tools.
• Understanding of machinery safety principles and regulations.
• Experience supporting projects through full engineering lifecycle.

• Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Collaboration with mechanical, manufacturing and project teams.
