Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd seeks an Electrical Design Engineer in the Crosshills/Keighley area. You will own electrical hardware design from initial requirements through manufacture, commissioning and acceptance, mainly using EPLAN Electric P8 and SAP for release and BOM management.

The role involves maintaining standards, macros, translations and templates, while collaborating with Sales, Aftermarket and other engineering teams to ensure machine builds meet customer specs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering required.
• Proven experience using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Experience in electrical design for machine tools.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and technical drawings.
• Good MS Office skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical schematics, control panel layouts, build specifications and documentation using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Create assembly drawings for HMI, control panel and enclosure assemblies.
• Produce cable drawings, BOMs and other manufacturing docs.
• Select and specify electrical components per requirements and standards.
• Maintain EPLAN parts data, macros, templates and translations.
• Keep SAP BOMs and electrical components up to date.
• Coordinate with Sales, Aftermarket, Project Management and other teams.
• Support Assembly, Inspection, Software Engineering and Service during build and commissioning.
• Address non-conformances and implement corrective design changes.
