Job summary

Omega Resource Group, based in Gloucester, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop and implement electrical systems for a range of standard and special purpose machines. This permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to manage projects from concept through to completion in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with mechanical and software teams, perform risk assessments for safety and CE compliance, and produce electrical drawings and bills of

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in electrical design in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience designing electrical control systems, wiring diagrams, and circuit layouts.
• Familiarity with British and European electrical standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design of standard and special purpose machines.
• Create electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to meet specs.
• Carry out risk assessments for safety and CE compliance.
• Generate electrical drawings and manage design changes.
• Provide onsite customer support as required.
