Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is partnering with a well-established engineering business in Herefordshire to appoint a Design Engineer specializing in electrical control panels. You'll design panels to customer and industry standards, produce schematics with EPLAN, and support projects from concept through testing and commissioning, with a mix of office design and occasional site involvement.

Qualifications

Are you a Design Engineer with Control Panel experience, looking to join a well-established and growing engineering business that will provide training, progression, and long-term career development?

You will be responsible for designing electrical control panels to customer and industry standards, producing detailed documentation using EPLAN, and supporting projects from concept through to testing and commissioning. This is a varied role with both office-based design work and occasional site involvement.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer or Control Panel Designer who enjoys hands-on involvement, technical problem solving, and working on end-to-end engineering projects.

The Role:
