Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Our client is a successful building services design consultancy with over 40 years of experience, known as one of the region's leading providers of building services design solutions. They are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Wirral.

What you'll be doing:

1. Working in a building services design position for an electrical design engineer within the Wirral office.
2. Collaborating closely with clients, design partners, and internal team members.
3. Engaging in detailed design, design reviews, surveys, CAD drawing production, and project management related to project delivery.
4. Working on diverse schemes including schools, industrial facilities, decarbonisation projects, commercial offices, residential, and student accommodation.
5. Developing your design skills, participating in team meetings, and potentially managing your own projects. The company invests in BIM and collaborates with architects, developers, and end users.

Candidate requirements:

• Hands-on approach to electrical design engineering.
• Interest in contributing to conceptual design, decision-making, and problem-solving processes.
• Excellent communication skills to convey passion for engineering to clients and team members.
• Experience with front-end design tools such as Amtech, REVIT MEP, BIM, and proficiency in CAD and IT.
