Job summary

Adept:us is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with strong MEP/building services experience to join our growing consultancy delivering projects across commercial, residential, care, refurbishment and Building Safety Act-related schemes.

You will own projects from concept to detailed design, perform detailed electrical calculations, LV distribution, and coordinate CAD drawings, with hybrid working and a competitive salary in the £55k–£70k range and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment.
• Strong detailed design and calculation capability, especially around electrical distribution and schedules.
• Focus on technical engineering and project ownership rather than drawing production.

Electrical Design Engineer- MEP/Building Services

Salary: £55,000–£70,000 DOE + Bonus

We are recruiting a Electrical Engineer to join a growing Building Services design consultancy delivering projects across commercial, residential, care, refurbishment and Building Safety Act-related schemes.

This is a key technical appointment offering considerable autonomy, flexible working and the opportunity to become an important part of a growing consultancy.

The Role

• Electrical Building Services design from concept through detailed stages

About You

• We're looking for an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, ideally with 5+ years' post-qualification experience within a consultancy environment.
• Strong detailed design and calculation capability is essential, particularly around electrical distribution and schedules.
• Dedicated CAD support is already available, so the focus is on technical engineering and project ownership rather than drawing production.
