Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking for the next step in your career?

Here at Blueprint Recruitment we have an unmissable and exclusive new contract role for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a top leading client. We are seeking someone who has extensive prior experience and skills in this position, to work on major residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis, with three days a week in the clients London office.

Our client is a building services engineering consultancy, offering services such as infrastructure planning, building design, refurbishment, environmental analysis, and carbon/energy modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

-Create electrical design drawings and specs for building services projects.

-Work closely with colleagues, clients, architects, and contractors.

-Visit sites to carry out inspections and support during construction.

-Ensure designs meet all codes, standards, and regulations.

-Support sustainable design and use of innovative tech.

-Manage project deadlines, budgets, and deliverables.

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

-Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, and Dialux/Relux.

-Good knowledge of British Standards and building regulations.

-Strong communication and teamwork skills.

-Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or similar) preferred.
