Job description

Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be:

1. Working as part of a design team delivering detailed designs.
2. Using CAD and BIM Revit software, along with other resources, to design the systems required for the project.
3. Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors, within both in-house and external project teams.
4. Advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation across various buildings and sites, with the goal of minimizing environmental impact and reducing the carbon footprint.
5. Working on a variety of projects both in the UK and overseas.
6. Using Dialux, Relux, or Dialux EVO to produce lighting designs.

Requirements for this position include a building services degree or equivalent, experience in a similar role, and ideally Chartered status or working towards it. Excellent communication skills and a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration are essential.
