Gayathri Power Engineering Services Limited (GPESL) provides expert services in Design, Engineering, and Consulting for voltages ranging from 11kV to 132kV. We specialize in sectors such as Power Generation (including Conventional sources, PV, Onshore WF, BESS), Transmission and Distribution networks, and Commercial/Industrial projects like housing developments, data centres, and commercial buildings. Our solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each sector.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Electrical Design Engineers (Primary / Protection & Control), located in London. The responsibilities include designing and engineering electrical systems, working on primary and protection & control design projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Design and Design Engineering
• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and understanding of Electricity principles
• Specialized knowledge in Power Distribution and related systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in power generation and distribution projects is preferred
• Professional certifications in Electrical Design or related fields are a plus

Requirements

• Relevant engineering degree (Electrical or Power Systems preferred).
• Proven experience in electrical design (primary systems and/or protection & control).
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g. IEC, BS, or National Grid standards).
• Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
• Willingness to travel to site or office locations when required.
