Rolls-Royce Measurement & Test Engineering is recruiting Electrical Design Engineers to support test facilities for aerospace engine and rig tests. The role is hybrid with Derby base and opportunities across the UK (Bristol, Solihull) as well as internationally.
You will capture requirements, develop electrical designs and calculations, oversee manufacture, installation and testing, and chair design reviews.

The Rolls-Royce Measurement & Test Engineering organisation are responsible for designing and delivering the infrastructure required to test the next generation of gas turbine engines for both Civil and Defence applications.
Responsibilities: You will be working for the Rolls-Royce Technical Authority for Aerospace Engine Test Facilities. In this role you will be working with colleagues locally in Derby, and opportunities also exist to work more widely within the UK (Bristol, Solihull) as well as internationally. The workload can be varied, and you will work on a wide range of projects; from developing the next generation of cutting‑edge ground‑based test facility designs, through to modification of existing flying testbeds and design of new test rigs as well as ensuring the existing Rolls‑Royce test portfolio is kept up to date.
