Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical CRE/ Lead Electrical Engineer to deliver the MEPHFC package for HS2 Old Oak Common station. This high-impact position involves hybrid working (3 days onsite/office), leading electrical design, supporting project management, and shaping a talented engineering team.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and delivering complete electrical designs from feasibility to as-built stage.
• Acting as CEM and/or CRE, ensuring technical assurance and standards compliance.
• Supporting the Associate Director and deputising as needed.
• Managing, mentoring, and developing engineers, fostering a 'right first time' approach.
• Conducting design reviews and stakeholder meetings.
• Producing progress reports and supporting procurement planning.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered (CEng or IEng) with a UK engineering institution.
• 15+ years' experience in the rail industry, especially station systems design.
• Experience in CEM/CRE/DPE roles under NR-L2-RSE-02009.
• Strong knowledge of British Standards and infrastructure regulations (Network Rail, HS2, TfL).
• Proficiency with electrical design tools such as Trimble/Amtech Pro Design, Dialux, or Relux.
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills.
